Description: We are seeking an experienced SDDC GFM Systems Operator to manage freight movements within the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) GFM system. This role involves scheduling shipments in CAVS, securing necessary equipment, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Minimum Requirements:

● Experience operating within the SDDC GFM system to set up and manage freight tenders.

● Ability to schedule and oversee orders in CAVS for efficient shipment coordination.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments.

● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Requirements:

● Experience working with GFM tenders and the CAVS system (highly preferred).

● Knowledge of military freight operations and government logistics.

● Experience securing appropriate equipment for SDDC shipments.

Responsibilities:

● Navigate and operate within the SDDC GFM system to set up freight tenders.

● Schedule and manage orders in CAVS to coordinate efficient shipments.

● Secure appropriate equipment to meet SDDC transportation requirements.

● Communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.

● Ensure compliance with SDDC transportation regulations and policies.

● Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues as they arise.
