Cost Optimization
- Gather and analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levels.
- Drive compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for indirect goods and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and foster long-term relationships.
- Develop, implement and manage category strategies for Indirect Spend, including but not limited to facilities management, utilities, MRO, Capital Expenditures, IT, travel, and professional services.
- Conduct regular market research and stay abreast of industry trends to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
Qualifications We Are Looking For
- The position requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a related field of study.
- 5 years experience in procurement with supplier development and management
- 3 years’ experience in a strategic sourcing role with a focus on indirect procurement.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and drive cost savings.
- Strong collaboration skills, demonstrated through previous experience working in team settings to achieve project goal
- An aptitude for problem solving and a high degree of organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Data analysis related to supply chain with forecasting experience a plus.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including at least intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong competency within the purchasing module of an ERP system (SAP preferred).
- Applicable certificates a plus (CPM, Six Sigma, etc.).
