Salary :
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $145,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities :
The Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales – Industrial Division and will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales group in the Michigan Division. Carrying out development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management; developing new business and sales closing techniques; supporting the Vice President of Sales with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis; divisional P&L responsibilities are some of the main aspects of this role.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
The position will have 4 direct reports with possible additional reports as dictated by the needs of the business.
Travel :
Approximately 50% travel within the territory, depending upon residence location
Qualifications we are looking for :
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business required
- At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred
- A minimum of 3 years‘ experience in a leadership role
- CRM experience (Salesforce desired)
- Demonstrated success in opening new business
- Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
- Ability to foster collaborative relationship across inter-company departments and divisions
- Ability to travel overnight when needed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
