What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Specialist position at Fuel Total Systems Kentucky Corporation?
JOB DUTIES:
· Develop, implement, and audit receiving inspection, quality assurance procedures, and work instructions
· Complete in-process standardized work audits of production and quality
· Establish and maintain visual boundary samples
· Develop and implement training programs on quality standards and customer-required documentation for all team members
· Work with vendors, suppliers, and customers on any quality items
· Work on Defect root cause analysis and report creation for supplier, internal, and customer issues
· Complete Warranty investigation and tracking
· Capability studies, SPC, and gage R&R
· Defect and data collection, graphing, and management
· GD&T knowledge and blue print reading
· Control all internal and customer drawings, documents, and engineering standards
· IMDS submission and management
· Read and interpret drawings to ensure products meet required quality specifications
· Part approval management for suppliers and customers including preparation and submission on SQAM customer documents and internal documents
· ECI and PCR creation, submission, and management of internal and external changes
· Specify test equipment and design and support development of inspection or test jigs
· Support QC inspectors and the quality team as needed
· Support troubleshooting of any testing equipment
· Support submission of product samples and manufacturing data to customers
· Understanding of quality tools and calibration tracking
· Support ISO 14001 activities as required
· Ability to work alternative shifts, over time, or weekends as needed
· Ability to lift, push, pull 30 pounds as needed
· Additional tasks as needed
