Assistant Store Manager/Operations
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at our carefully curated island, coastal resort, boutique clothing and home goods store.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations-Receive and process backroom inventory, ensuring a accuracy and timely delivery to the sales floor.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Assist in training new employees
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to meet store targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
- Operate the cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain a clean and organized store environment, achieve sales goals and dive business growth.
Experience:
- Previous experience in retail sales and management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail operations, including POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
