We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Boiler Technician to join our team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems, especially within water treatment processes. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections, water quality testing, and ensuring system performance, without the maintenance work, as we have a dedicated department for that.
Key Responsibilities:
- Boiler System Inspections: Regularly inspect boiler systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Water Quality Testing: Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemical levels to optimize boiler performance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and operational data.
- Safety Checks: Perform safety tests to ensure the reliability and safety of systems.
- Collaborate with Team: Work with other departments and share insights to enhance system performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in boiler operations or a similar field.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of boiler operations, safety standards, and water treatment processes.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and work through solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Preferred:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the water treatment or related industry.
- Willingness to attend boiler school for further certification.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
