Location : Works at company facility, Plattsburgh, NY
Reports To (Position) : Supervisor - Warehouse
SUMMARY
Fujitsu Frontech North America is seeking an organized Shipping Clerk with an eye for detail to verify, records and prepares items for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to;
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Affixes shipping labels on corresponding packed cartons / pallets
- Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped
- Posts weights and piece counts on shipping documents
- Operates lift truck, pallet jack, and hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments as necessary
- Processes FedEx & UPS shipments
- Loads all trucks according to schedule
- Packages / prepares all systems for shipment
- Regular work site attendance

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Prefer 1 to 3 years’ experience
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Demonstrate ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Demonstrate ability to effectively apply common sense and follow through to daily tasks; demonstrate ability to work with little or no supervision; demonstrate excellent analytical skills; demonstrate ability to efficiently conduct research. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
