We are seeking an Assistant to join our dynamic team at Fujiyama Steakhouse of Japan. This role is essential in supporting our restaurant operations and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Located conveniently in Indianapolis, this position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a fun and energetic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily restaurant operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation and cooking tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Adhere to food safety standards and practices at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for guests.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies when necessary.
• Participate in training new staff members on restaurant procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Basic cooking skills or culinary training is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
