Job Description
Fulcrum Technology Solutions, LLC. has an opening for an experienced Engineer to serve as a tier 3 escalation for the Network Operations Center group. This position is a critical role in supporting Fulcrum clients, and providing leadership for Fulcrum technical operations. The ideal candidate will have solid technical skills and a track record for leading small teams in a highly technical, process-driven environment. Our ideal candidate is logical and proactive, thinks through their activities and understands how their work contributes to Fulcrum’s value to the client.
Qualifications
Responsibilities :
- Reporting daily metrics and status to Director of Managed Services
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation for troubleshooting issues relating to network, firewall and server equipment (experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco networking, and hyper converged storage solutions a plus)
- Work with our technical consultants to seamlessly integrate new clients into our Managed Services offerings
- Monitor and maintain our SEIM
- Identify and review potential new services that can be added to our Managed Services offerings and management toolset
- Implement processes for monitoring / alerting, systems maintenance and change control
- Ensure that up-to-date technical documentation exists for all Fulcrum services provided to our clients and take ownership for client reporting
- Serve as Senior technical resource for NOC team
- Train and develop junior engineers
