We’re launching a brand-new 50,000 sq. ft. 3PL facility on Clements Ferry in Charleston, SC, and we’re assembling a top-tier logistics team to ensure fast, accurate, and damage-free order fulfillment.
As a Packer & Shipper, you'll be responsible for packing orders securely, preparing shipments, and coordinating logistics to ensure on-time deliveries. If you're detail-oriented, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want you to be part of this exciting opportunity!
Key Responsibilities: Order Packing & Quality Control
- Carefully pack products according to order specifications, ensuring secure packaging.
- Verify item accuracy, quantity, and condition before sealing shipments.
- Follow customer-specific packing guidelines when applicable.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination
- Print shipping labels, packing slips, and production tickets.
- Weigh packages and determine the best shipping method based on cost and speed.
- Arrange pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight providers).
- Track shipments and ensure timely deliveries, resolving minor shipping issues as needed.
Inventory & Workflow Efficiency
- Organize and maintain packing stations with necessary materials (boxes, tape, void fill, etc.).
- Monitor packaging supply levels and notify supervisors of reorder needs.
- Assist in keeping an efficient and organized shipping workflow.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all warehouse safety guidelines to prevent damage or injury.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including hazardous materials guidelines when applicable.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements:
✔ Previous experience in order fulfillment, packing, or shipping is preferred.
✔ Ability to operate shipping software and label printers.
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently.
✔ Comfortable lifting packages up to 50 lbs. as needed.
✔ Team-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
