Production Supervisor – Charleston 3PL

We’re launching a brand-new 50,000 sq. ft. 3PL facility on Clements Ferry in Charleston, SC, and we’re building a high-performing team to drive its success! As a Production Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our fulfillment and packing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Order Execution & Workflow Management

• Print and distribute daily production tickets to ensure accurate fulfillment.
• Oversee the workflow of pickers and packers, ensuring efficiency in packing and shipping operations.
• Monitor order completion times to meet daily targets and maintain on-time shipping performance.

Quality Control & Accuracy

• Ensure all packed orders meet accuracy, presentation, and quality standards before shipping.
• Conduct spot-checks and audits to maintain strict adherence to client specifications.
• Train and reinforce proper packing procedures to minimize errors and returns.

Team Leadership & Performance Oversight

• Supervise the picking and packing teams, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and according to SOPs.
• Motivate and coach team members to meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
• Communicate daily goals and expectations, holding the team accountable for performance metrics.

Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
• Proactively resolve order-related issues, coordinating with customer service when necessary.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and speed.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold operational excellence.
• Ensure all equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition.

Requirements:

✔Previous experience in a 3PL, warehouse, or fulfillment center, preferably in a supervisory role.
✔Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
✔ Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
✔ Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and motivate a team.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining efficiency.
✔ Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order tracking software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
