What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender - Beverage position at Full House Resorts?
Receives and prepares beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
Essential Job Functions :
- Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner;
- Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail servers;
- Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as "comped" beverages;
- Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes;
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top;
- Maintain and replenish ice supply;
- Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank;
- Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person - never a beer and a shot;
- Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care training;
- Other reasonable duties as assigned
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Preferred : Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Must be able to obtain / maintain any necessary certifications and / or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
