Receives and prepares beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard beverage recipes. Maintains the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment.
Essential Job Functions:

Greet and serve guests in a friendly courteous manner;

Receive and prepare beverage orders from food servers, cocktail servers;

Know what brands of liquor, beer and wine we offer as “comped” beverages;

Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes;
-
Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays and wiping bar top;
-
Maintain and replenish ice supply;
-
Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank;
-
Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person - never a beer and a shot;
-
Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care training;

Other reasonable duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
-
High School/GED preferred
-
6 months related experience minimum.
Preferred:
Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations

Excellent guest service communication skills

Exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise at times - casino environment

Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds

Able to walk and stand the duration of assigned shift

$11.40 -$18.90 Tips
