OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for managing client relationships and overseeing day-to-day account operations, providing strategic counsel and hands-on support across media relations, campaign planning, and new business initiatives. The ideal candidate is a polished, seasoned professional with solid agency and corporate communications experience—equal parts smart and savvy. They are detail-oriented, thorough, and known for exceptional follow-through. They’re also curious and current, with a strong understanding of how the communications landscape is evolving. A talented media relations pro, they bring a strong network of contacts, a creative mindset, and the ability to develop and drive standout ideas that deliver results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with the division’s clients
- Co-lead select accounts with oversight and strategic direction from senior leadership
- Secure impactful media coverage, with a focus on thought leadership opportunities and top-tier outlets
- Leverage relationships with media, talent, and industry contacts to create new opportunities for clients
- Ideate and help to execute creative, strategic communications programs
- Oversee junior team members and manage external partners or collaborators as needed
- Maintain open, ongoing communication with supervisor to ensure alignment on account activity, client dynamics, opportunities, and challenges
- Contribute to new business efforts, including pitch development, ideation, and prospect meetings
- Collaborate with other Full Picture divisions—including executive consulting and production—to fully harness in-house capabilities and deliver integrated client solutions
- Stay up to date on industry trends, news, and developments to inform strategy and client counsel
SKILLS & QUALITIES
- Minimum 5 years in public relations with some agency experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of client management experience
- Established relationships with long lead, short lead and online editors in at least two of the following sectors: food & beverage/CPG, corporate, consumer, and thought leadership
- Keen understanding of the influencer landscape across multiple social media platforms
- Skilled and comfortable presenting to clients in formal and informal settings
- Demonstrated history of successfully securing meaningful press placements, profiles or features
- Experience with new business pitches
- Demonstrated experience in managing junior team members
- Hands-on experience writing clear, interesting, effective press releases, media alerts, press pitches, and other materials
- Able to work well and remain both calm and solution-oriented under pressure

Salary : $77,500 - $97,000
