About the position
We are recruiting for Medical Receptionists / Patient Coordinators to join our growing team! These positions are responsible for checking patients into and out of the clinic, directing patients to appropriate areas, verifying medications, making follow-up appointments, receiving payments, creating patient charts and ordering medications.

This is a 40 hr/wk position
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 9-6
Customer Service
- At all times must exemplify high quality customer service to both external customers as well as internal customers that meets or exceeds the service standards as set by Full Potential. This duty includes prompt and professional communication efforts, high level conflict resolution, flexible coverage of internal service needs, continuous application of process improvement methods and skills, crisis management, & developing a standard complaint process for process improvement.
Patient interactions:
When needed to support the Clinic Operations team, depending on schedule may also:
- Checks in patients include gathering patient information, collecting payments, creating new charts
- Checks out patients to include addressing any additional patient concerns or needs.
- Schedules all patients within provider guidelines.
- Answers telephone and triages calls to determine urgency; transfers and/or leaves messages for staff and follows-up on telephone inquiries; directs callers to other providers, staff or departments when appropriate.
- Triages and documents accurately telephone calls from patients including requests for medication refills, complaints, general information inquiries, and health care concerns. Delivers such information or requests promptly to the appropriate providers or their designees.
- Monitors missed appointments and handles per protocol.
- Completes opening and closing responsibilities consistently and timely
- Responds to correspondence as appropriate, by telephone and/or in writing.
- Maintains organized work area.
- Order, and verify medication orders and submit to pharmacy
- Create all charts for providers
- Maintain accurate patient files and ensure strict confidentiality in regards to patient accounts

Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in medical office setting, including high volume direct patient contact, scheduling of appointments
- 1 year of customer service experience
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of accuracy, speed and exhibit a willingness to work with deadlines.
- Ability to provide service excellence, kindness, and compassion to all patients and other Full Potential HRT Clinic team members
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population.
- EHR experience preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with a variety of internal and external contacts in a positive manner.
- Proven record of reliable attendance, punctuality and successful performance with past and present employers
- Ability to interpret and follow policies, procedures and protocols
- Basic applied math skills, including calculations and conversions
- Skilled in developing and maintaining professional relationships
