Job Summary:
The Front Desk Agent provides and maintains the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction, being the hotel’s first point of contact. Manage all aspects of guests’ accommodation, including registering guests, providing information about rooms, rates and amenities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service and hospitality.
· Welcome guests upon their arrival with a positive demeanor always
· Assign guests rooms
· Provide information about our hotel and amenities
· Perform all check in and check out tasks
· Manage online and phone reservations
· Inform guests of payment methods
· Inform guests of any packages or messages
· Respond to guest complaints in a timely professional manner
· Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully stocked
· Confirm group reservations and accommodate any special request
· Encourage guest to enroll in the “Hilton Honors” reward program
· Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Minimum Qualifications:
· Work experience as Hotel Front Desk Agent or similar role
· Experience with hotel reservation software
· Understanding of OTA’s, Booking, Expedia, Kayak, etc.
· Guest service quality at the highest standards
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Must be self-motivated and organized.
Physical Requirements:
· Walking, standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
· You must be able to work the hours necessary to accomplish the hotel’s business and scheduled events.
