Full Smile Management is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and dedicated Team Lead for our new AOMS Pediatric and Children's Dentistry office located in Town Square. Job Summary: The team leader actively contributes to the operations and business success of the practice by leading a team of office staff to promote a well-organized and efficient practice, ensuring our patients have an enjoyable experience at our clinics.
Duties/Responsibilities - the Team Lead is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Ensure quality customer service by effective communication and personal attention
- Provide work direction with clear responsibility for the coordination of resources to effectively support the day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth flow of patients through the clinic.
- Oversee the staff activities to provide a consistent patient experience
- Assist or direct patient concerns, complaints and issues to the appropriate department
- Coordinate the needs of the doctors and serve as liaison between doctors and support staff to mediate and resolve any issues as necessary
- Ensure staff and patient safety is maintained at all times following OSHA, CDC and HIPAA guidelines
- Fill in as needed to account for absenteeism or high-volume periods
- Act as a change agent supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Represent Company in a professional manner at all times
- Approve staff time cards
- Work in coordination with Human Resources on staffing and recruiting needs
- Maintain a clean work environment to meet OSHA and Center for Disease Control standards
- Maintain high-integrity and honesty in all affairs
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Other duties may be assigned
Preferred Qualifications and Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with patients, families, doctors, and staff
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously and without error
- Ability to work under stressful conditions, work independently and as a team member
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Dental experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time
