Schedule:
- Sundays: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Monday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Full Throttle Security is seeking a highly professional Retail Security Officer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail security, specifically in loss prevention. This role demands a confident, assertive individual with a strong command presence and the ability to remain calm and in control in a fast-paced retail environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive foot patrols of the retail premises
- Deter and respond to shoplifting and other forms of theft
- Manage and de-escalate conflict situations calmly and professionally
- Follow and execute proper emergency procedures
- Write accurate and timely activity and incident reports
- Provide regular updates to supervisor
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of retail security experience, with a strong background in loss prevention
- Experience in conflict management, emergency response, and report writing
- Demonstrates a strong command presence, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Must be able to:
- Follow orders and take direction
- Retain information and apply it on the job
- Understand and respect the chain of command
- Arrive on time and in full uniform
- Must be able to work the exact schedule listed above
- Strong work ethic and the ability to leave personal issues outside of the workplace
