Residential Recovery Assistant Supervisor

Responsibilities
1. Supervision of RA Staff: Maintains a schedule of coverage for the PHP House to ensure appropriate coverage for safe and therapeutic environments. Identifies coverage needs and communicates with RA staff, Hospital Staffing, and House Officer to fill coverage gaps. Facilitates hiring/cross training efforts in collaboration with Lead Clinician and Program Manager. Facilitates RA staff meetings on a monthly basis to address program needs, policy changes, and provide support. Provides training and supervision of staff to ensure proper care and supervision of patients in accordance with Fuller Hospital policies and procedures
2. Program Development: Identifies areas of need in PHP house programming and work collaboratively with Lead Clinician and Program Manager to identify community resources and activities to improve daily programming and increase patient satisfaction. Consults and collaborates with varied disciplines including Program Clinicians, Assistant Case Managers, Psychiatric Nurse, Psychiatrist, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of house programming.
3. House Coverage: Maintains coverage of PHP ensuring patient safety and therapeutic milieu are followed. Facilitates intake process with new patients to include review of PHP House Contract and Financial Forms are completed. Facilitates orientation of program to new patients to include identification of room, support with settling in, inventory of personal belongings and medications. Supports patients in administration of their medications. Maintains medication logs and accurate med count. Maintains accurate documentation of shift utilizing shift reports, communicates concerns and shift events to the appropriate personnel (House Officer, Lead Clinician, Program Manager). Identifies supplies required for house functioning and creates requisitions for supplies with kitchen and housekeeping departments.
4. Staff Education: Participates in weekly supervision with Lead Clinicians and/or Program Manager. Participates in educational and other activities that helps maintain clinical competency in areas of responsibility to ensure professional credentials. Attends and participates in staff meetings. Attends and participates in all mandatory in-services. Attends and participates in voluntary in-services. Assists with the unit orientation of new staff members. Maintains a record of educational activities. Provides the Human Resources Department with copies of any training, seminars or professional development programs attended

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required. Two years of inpatient experience may be substitued for a degree
