This role is key to our revenue generation efforts, requiring you to create new qualified sales opportunities for your assigned business unit. You will be responsible for mapping the market, identifying potential clients, and engaging them through strategic outreach, nurturing these leads into qualified opportunities ready for our sales team to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting: Use various channels such as LinkedIn, industry events, and online communities to gather relevant information about potential clients within the target market.
- Generation: Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling, to generate leads and set up initial meetings with potential clients.
- Qualification: Assess potential clients by evaluating their needs, goals, and budget, determining if they align with the company's target customer profile, and identifying potential partnership opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with prospects through regular follow-ups, meetings, and networking events, understanding their pain points and providing relevant insights and solutions to position the company's products or services as the best fit.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a sales pipeline using CRM software, keeping accurate records of all interactions, and updating relevant information to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or sales role in the SaaS industry, demonstrating a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with the ability to effectively identify and engage with potential clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SaaS industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM software and Salesloft or Outreach sales engagement platform is required.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to industry-related events.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
