Must-Have Skills:
- Ability to read exact measurements on a tape measure independently.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate a CNC laser cutting machine in a safe and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding quality standards.
- Set up and operate single or multiple CNC laser cutting machines, including loading raw materials and adjusting parameters such as focal point, feed rate, and power.
- Accurately label and tag finished parts and deliver them to designated areas.
- Monitor laser/Python machine operations to ensure proper and safe functionality, recording machine code errors and reporting issues to the supervisor.
- Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to verify part quality.
- Deburr and clean parts to maintain production standards.
- Maintain accurate quality, productivity, and safety records.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure adequate supplies are available for operations.
- Assist other operators with machine operation, inspections, and cleaning of machines and parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.
- Promote sustainable processes that drive continuous improvement, aiming for industry-leading performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience operating CNC machines, including laser cutting machines.
- Licensed forklift truck operator.
- Minimum of 2 years of crane operating experience.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in using tape measures, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CNC laser-cutting operations.
Salary : $23 - $30
