Job Description:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Team Lead to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the department, ensuring the safety of our patients, visitors, and employees while upholding the highest standards of customer service. You will also play a key role in the supervision, training, and management of food operations, ensuring that food is prepared and served in appropriate quantities and meets all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily department activities and review staffing schedules for any issues.
- Maintain food production in accordance with safety standards, department requirements, and policies.
- Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized, and hazard-free environment.
- Adhere to menu specifications and food safety procedures for serving and presentation.
- Maintain a sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety codes.
- Monitor inventory and assist with weekly ordering, ensuring accurate food production.
- Promote employee growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork through leadership and mentoring.
- Ensure all food safety/temperature logs are maintained with corrective actions as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and log equipment maintenance.
- Fill in for absent staff members as needed.
- Assist in catering events, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of food.
- Attend staff meetings and maintain communication with team members.
- Maintain a flexible approach to schedules and duties, as tasks may change based on operational needs.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Availability to work varying hours between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
