Heart & Vascular Center (HVC) - Radiology Technologist
Department: Nursing - Heart & Vascular Center (HVC)
Status Hours: Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly
Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center’s Heart & Vascular Center is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures. This position also includes contingent responsibilities in Radiology, with anticipated call time in the near future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
- Apply critical thinking skills in working within the arterial vascular system.
- Ensure precision and attention to detail in all aspects of the procedure, including sterile technique, radiation safety, and accurate patient charges.
- Adapt to variability in provider scheduling with flexibility and professionalism.
Requirements
- Certification: Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold a current Radiologic license with the Ohio Department of Health.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac cath, vascular, or interventional radiology.
- Continuing Education: Must maintain CEUs per licensure and facility policy.
- Certification: Specialty certification is highly encouraged.
- Training: Successful completion of required BLS and ACLS courses.
