Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Hyperbaric Safety Officer / Certified Hyperbaric Technologist to join our Wound Care team. This role is essential in maintaining the daily, weekly, and monthly operations of the hyperbaric chamber and ensuring the safety of hyperbaric therapy. The position requires oversight of hyperbaric staff and adherence to hyperbaric safety protocols and emergency procedures.
This is an autonomous role requiring self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a productive and respectful team environment. Hyperbaric therapy plays a critical role in wound healing and limb preservation, making this a rewarding opportunity to contribute to life-saving treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee the maintenance and safety of the hyperbaric chamber.
- Ensure compliance with hyperbaric safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Provide oversight and training for hyperbaric staff.
- Support clinic operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Maintain a collaborative and professional team environment.
Requirements
- Must hold current certification as an LPN, Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
- Prior wound care experience preferred.
- Diving or hyperbaric experience is a plus; willingness to learn is required.
- Must obtain Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification within one year of employment if not already certified at the time of hire.
