What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Representative position at Fulton County YMCA?
The front Desk staff role is defined around the YMCA’s core principles: Caring, Honesty, respect and responsibility. Under the supervision of the membership coordinator, the front desk staff is responsible for the delivery of excellent customer service to all members, guests, and participants of the YMCA. This individual will be responsible for the sale of membership, responding to the needs of our members, and keeping the work area clean, all while adhering to the YMCA’s core principles.
- Engage with member with a positive upbeat attitude
- Tours for prospective members
- Entering member information into the software system with accuracy
- Handling money and giving change accurately
- Assisting and handling of member, guest, and participants concerns. Escalating any situations to a manager if it cannot be resolved.
- Forwarding calls to their appropriate department
Qualifications
- Highschool or equivalent education
- Two years of customer service experience preferred
- CPR certified, or within 60 days of hire
