We’re looking for an inside sales associate who will bring enthusiasm, personal drive, and great communication skills to our team. As an inside sales associate, you’ll be responsible for communication with existing business customers. You’ll maintain relationships with these customers while taking their orders, upselling and informing them of our entire line of products, and resolving any problems or service inquiries. The inside sales associate will also be responsible for processing customer orders in our computer system, processing customer payments, and reporting sales and service figures to the management team. Our team frequently collaborates on sales and marketing promotions and strategies using information gathered from customers and industry professionals. The inside sales associates are an important part of communication and company understanding of customer needs.

Inside Sales Associate Responsibilities:
- Build rapport and maintain professional relationships with current customers
- Communicate with customers regarding new or featured products, specials, and other relevant information as determined by management to increase existing sales
- Take orders from existing customers using telephone, email, What’s App and other communication systems
- Process orders and shipments using SAP, UPS, and other logistics providers’ systems
- Process customer payments using online processing systems
- Respond to customer service calls, emails and online chat
- Maintain thorough documentation of customer service interactions in online CRM system
- Prepare and present daily and bi-weekly ad-hoc sales and customer service reports
Specific Tasks:
- Make phone calls and carry conversations
- Written communication with customers
- Data entry in specified software programs
- Troubleshooting activities with customers
- Answer phone and route calls
- Adaptive selling, cross-selling, and upselling
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year sales experience
- Experience using MS Office systems and multi-line phone systems
Preferred Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and leadership skills
- Accurate, detail oriented and well organized
- Goal oriented, strong interpersonal skills and ability to receive and follow instructions
- Ability to speak multiple languages preferred, but not required
- Experience with Zoho, CRM, and SAP Business One preferred, but not required
- Hookah experience is always a plus!
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM TO 4:30 PM.
Travel:
Up to 5% of domestic and global travel is anticipated for this position. Some occasional local day travel may be necessary.
