Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate After School Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong classroom management skills, and be dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment. This is part time during the school year and full time during school breaks and summer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Provide individualized support to students with varying learning needs
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive student behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student development
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Experience
- Previous experience in behavior management, camp counseling, babysitting, sports coaching, special education, childhood development, tutoring, childcare, or classroom management is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
