FUN.com, an e-commerce industry leader in the fields of Halloween costumes, apparel, accessories, and more. FUN.com is looking to beef up its warehouse staff in the Inventory department!
Do you like to be active yet still intellectually challenged at work? Do you enjoy the thrill of riding large pieces of machinery and loading boxes into our racking, up high? The job isnt all machinery related. There is ground level work to be done on on a daily basis, such as using a scooter cart (yep, you ride a scooter) throughout the warehouse to put product into the bins for the Shipping department. We also put a lot of focus on inventory control, doing weekly cycle count verification of inventory and other processes to ensure as high of Inventory accuracy as possible.
During our peak season, you will be tasked with assisting with small amount of leadership of temporary staff, which involves training seasonal staff, answering employee questions, communicating with other departments. Of course we give you guidance along the way, but helping supervise a department of 200 total employees can be a tall task.

This position will work out of our North Mankato, MN headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that inventory is prepared and ready for the Shipping department to fill customer orders
- Use a handheld scanner to perform inventory related processes
- Supervise and lead a small group of Temporary Inventory Specialists during the busy season
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Practice safe work habits
- Use a computer to solve inventory related problems(high use of Microsoft Excel)
- Assist the Shipping and Receiving departments when needed
- Have a full understanding of how inventory is handled at Fun.com from arrival to departure
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or over
- Experience setting and meeting goals
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and in group settings without direct supervision
- Experience with using computers and computer programs with a focus on the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Self-motivated and open to rapid change in priorities and procedures
- Possess superior problem-solving skills
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to stand on your feet for the duration of a shift
- Maintain punctual, regular and consistent attendance
Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, turret truck, order picker)
- Experience analyzing data and preparing reports
- Experience planning and organizing work tasks
- Experience training and leading other employees
Salary : $29,100 - $36,800
