What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Fun Time Early Childhood Academy?
You will be responsible for providing administrative office and financial support to the Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports, P&Ls, balance sheet to accountant for review and interpretation.
- Completes monthly returns i.e.. invoicing of VPK, School Readiness, Head Start, and USDA Food Program.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable and other credit card, bank accounts, and petty cash.
- Prepare entire payroll, collect and record parent payments into QuickBooks, and use check scanner to deposit checks.
- Resolves discrepancies with parents and employees.
- Accounting related to Donor gifts, attendance, and matters related to employment of staff i.e. requirements of DCF, CCPS, and PEO.
Qualifications: Associate degree or at least one year of experience in respective field preferred
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related finance
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to details and deadlines
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
