Role : Function Health is seeking a meticulous and experienced QA Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing QA processes, ensuring the reliability and excellence of our cutting-edge healthcare solutions. As we transition toward AI-driven personalized health management, your leadership in quality assurance will be instrumental in shaping the future of our sophisticated health technology systems. Key Responsibilities :

Engineering Leadership : Manage and scale the QA team, overseeing the development and implementation of QA strategies that impact the outcome of our goals. Balance individual contributions with management responsibilities, ensuring team productivity and project success.
Technical Guidance : Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Ensure the technical proficiency of the team, security of our data, and the quality of the solutions meet our company standards.
Project Oversight : Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, from initial design roadmapping through successful implementation, ensuring alignment with Function Health's strategic objectives.
Innovation and Research : Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest technology trends and incorporating them into your team's projects, thereby advancing the company's mission of revolutionizing health technology.
Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements, define engineering tasks, and ensure that the engineering team’s solutions meet business needs and user expectations.
Collaborative Problem Solving : Engage with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deeply understand system requirements and functionalities, actively participating in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues.
Documentation : Maintain meticulous records by documenting test cases, results, and relevant information, contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications / Skills :

Leadership Acumen : At least 3 years of QA Team Management experience. Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of managing engineering teams and delivering successful projects.

Problem Solving : Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.

Communication Skills : Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading teams and working collaboratively with other departments.

Expertise : 6 years of experience in quality assurance / testing roles, preferably in a healthcare or regulated industry, and hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

QA Methodologies Expertise : Possesses a robust understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the software development life cycle (SDLC), ensuring comprehensive coverage and quality assurance across all phases of development.

Testing Tools Proficiency : Demonstrates experience with a variety of manual and automated testing tools and frameworks, equipped to assess and enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of complex healthcare applications. Python, Pytest, Playwright, Browserstack, Postman. Experience building out manual tests.

Python Proficiency : Skilled in using Python for scripting and test automation, enhancing testing efficiency and accuracy.

CI / CD Integration : Experienced in integrating and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to streamline development and testing processes.

API Testing Skills : Capable of designing and executing comprehensive API tests to verify the reliability, performance, and security of backend services.

QA Documentation : Able to produce clear and detailed QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports, to support development and quality assurance processes.
