Transform Lives as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Skills Instructor
At Functional Industries, Inc., we're committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their full potential. As a DSP - Skills Instructor, you'll play a vital role in teaching essential life skills, developing self-help abilities, vocational skills, and social connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and empower individuals with disabilities to learn essential life skills
• Guide and support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development
Qualifications:
• Compassionate and caring attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma/GED
• Background, OIG, and MVR Clearance required
• No prior experience necessary; all training provided
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Possession of a current Driver's License, car insurance, and a clean driving record (Preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Certificate (Preferred) will train
