We are currently seeking an experienced, full-timeENDPOINT SPECIALIST to join our team!
In this position you will utilize your technical support skills to offer support to both in=house and remote employees and associates who use company provided equipment or applicable company applications and serve as a security expert in implementing, reviewing and maintaining security controls for all company endpoints.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in personal computer hardware, software and peripherals, required
- Previous experience using issue tracking software, such as JIRA or an equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Investigation and remediation of endpoint security incidents according to corporate security policies.
- Provision and maintain endpoints to align with corporate security policies.
- Provide solutions to clients by identifying problems and mitigating the issue(s) through corrective steps.
- Create and/or improve endpoint policies and procedures.
- Recommend devices and proper techniques for use of devices within the companys environment that abides by the policies and procedures adopted by the company.
- Remote troubleshoot issues using company provided software.
- Maintain logs and reports on corporate equipment and supplies, as necessary.
- Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, computer engineering, MIS or related field, preferred.
- Related subject area certifications including ACSP, A , Network , Server and Security , preferred.
- Effective listening skills.
- Strong system and security analysis skills.
- Customer service minded when contacting or being contacted by users, managers, and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and quick to adapt to changing assignments.
- Ability to use a personal computer and work within a Windows based environment using MS Office.
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications and equipment.
- Should be a self-starter, able to manage his/her own time.
- Capable of organizing tasks and completing deadlines on time.
- Ability to embrace a culture of growth and change while achieving goals.
