POSITION SUMMARY:
The Infrastructure Admin Supervisor will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration and support of the server infrastructure, network infrastructure, organization CyberSecurity and applications in a growing enterprise environment with the assistance of the I.T. Department staff members and third-party contractors’ support.
This full-time, exempt position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. The work schedule is Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and work outside of normal business days and hours may be required. Work is primarily conducted onsite in Tumwater, WA. Local travel to other company locations and training seminars will be required from time to time. Occasional remote work can be discussed with the Supervisor. Infrequent travel may be required to other local facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement, and administer Microsoft infrastructure solutions such as Windows Servers 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy and File Services in an enterprise environment.
- Design, implement and administer complex Network infrastructures such as Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Routers, Switches, IP Scoping and Segmentation and third party incorporated Networking Systems and Technologies.
- Design, implement, and administer CyberSecurity infrastructure solutions such as Fortigate Appliances and Sentinel One Endpoint Security Platform.
- Design, implement and administer System Backups and Data Integrity.
- Analyze and resolve complex Virtual, Cloud, hybrid or on-premise systems and server application software issues while handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Analyze and resolve complex Fortinet, Cisco and other Networking technology issues while handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Provide after-hours escalation support and responsibility for responding to after-hours core system status alerts.
- Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
- Establish long-range objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve them.
- Coordinate project activities with other personnel or departments.
- Conduct research to gain information about products or processes.
- Recommend changes to improve computer or information systems.
- Monitor and test computer system operations to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with administrators, project managers, technicians, and stakeholders to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
- Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs.
- Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements.
- Research, test, or verify proper functioning of software patches and fixes.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree an Associate’s Degree is acceptable with additional years of related work experience.
- Proficient experience implementing, administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 operating systems.
- Proficient experience with implementing and administration of Microsoft Server Active Directory, Group Policy management, Office 365 hybrid/cloud environments and Certificate management.
- Proficient experience supporting, maintaining, administering and implementing enterprise software such as ERP, WMS, inventory and/or asset management systems.
- 5 years’ experience implementing, administering and supporting server and desktop virtualization systems and software such as VMWare, ESXi, Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Services and third-party products.
- 5 years’ experience with implementing, administering supporting Voice over IP (VoIP)telecommunications systems and technology.
- 5 years’ experience implementing, administering and supporting on-premise Network Area Storage (NAS) hardware and systems.
- 5 years’ experience implementing, administering and supporting Network equipment andIPv4/IPv6 Cable Infrastructure and Fiber Technologies.
- Adept in using Microsoft Office products.
- Intermediate experience with software License Management models.
- Basic experience and depth of knowledge of PCI Compliance and Complexity.
- Excellent team player with a proven ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the department head and departmental team members to discuss projects, budgets, systems, network and security issues or concerns and proposals of change.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the user community, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Ability to document, develop, implement and/or refine processes, procedures, policies and standards.
- Ability to stay abreast of emerging technologies with the ability to look for areas of improvement and provide proposals of change.
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic experience Object Oriented Scripting
- CCNP or CCNA certifications

Wage Range (DOE): $95,000 - $158,000 per year
