The National Account Manager manages one of our key strategic accounts in the greater LA area. Some travel is involved to the customer’s headquarters, Funko HQ, and various trade shows throughout the year. This role is responsible for the growth of the business, day-to-day communication, program planning, product launches, creative problem solving, and will work closely with different cross-functional teams both internally and externally to achieve sales and profit objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Builds Retail Strategies/Programs with clients
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with buyers and internal support teams, as well as external licensing partners to deliver category strategy
- Analyzes POS and industry trends to identify opportunities with the account to drive growth and minimize orderbook risk
- Understands S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build healthy product mix
- Utilize sales and inventory reports to identify licenses and products to solicit your customers.
- Participate in continued education/training to learn about new and existing product lines and improve sales techniques; be a trusted advisor on all things Funko.
- Create and deliver presentations tailored to your customer’s long term business needs.
- Prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts for revenue planning.
- Consistently meet quarterly quota and revenue targets
- Analyze market trends and client needs for the development and performance of sales activities in assigned market
- Establish sales targets, designing and implementing sales strategies to meet the targets and mapping the accounts to identify new opportunities
- Partner in the organization and execution of Funko’s portfolio of client-level campaigns from conception, evaluation, target definition and creative content specification to coordination of all aspects of execution
- Briefing and coordination of creative content creation for campaigns and promotional activities
- Forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement
- Support national events and trade shows
What You’ll Bring
- 3 years’ experience in a Sales or Account Management role, preferably in a consumer product company selling direct to large corporations
- Knowledge of collectible/toy/CPG industry and customer trends strongly preferred
- Out of the box thinker; creative and strategic mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining attention to details
- History of successful conflict-resolution and de-escalation of issues with customers.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to provide reports to management on customer's needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Understanding of S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build healthy product mix.
- Project-oriented, pro-active, and self-motivated work style.
- Collaborative mentality and the ability to foster a positive and trusting environment with direct and indirect reports.
- Ability to travel 4-6 times a year
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $90,610 - $110,500 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), and restricted stock units.
