Position Overview:
Funtimes Music School is seeking a passionate and skilled Piano Instructor to join our team of dedicated music educators. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to teach piano lessons to students of varying skill levels and ages, from beginner to intermediate. This role requires adaptability, passion, and a commitment to creating a fun and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teach private and/or group piano lessons with a focus on fundamentals of performance, technique, music reading, theory, ear-training, musicianship, and artistry
· Tailor lessons to the individual learning styles and goals of each student
· Deliver lessons in-person or online based on the needs of the students
· Inspire and motivate students to develop a lifelong appreciation for music
· Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and studio staff
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in playing and teaching piano through at least an intermediate level
- Passion for teaching music to students of all ages and skill levels
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different ages, learning styles, and goals
- Experience with both in-person and online instruction
- Bachelor of Music degree preferred; equivalent teaching experience (classroom or private) will be considered

Compensation: $28-$30 an hour depends on experience. Teachers are paid as independent contractors on a 1099.
