Job description: Pouch Filler Operator

Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Must be able to operate the Pouch Filler lines 8 and 10. 2. Will do periodic weighing of pouches. 3. Must be able to monitor proper temperature and controls on filler and chiller. 4. Must be able to monitor transfer functions. 5. Must be able to change rolls of film and rethread machine as needed. 6. Issue pouches to orders using assistics. 7. Operate the efficiency system. (data entry) 8. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting, communicating and helping co-workers. 9. When carts are filled the pouch filler operator is responsible for reassigning labor to loading area or other area as needed. 10. Complete daily documentation accurately. Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.
Skills and Abilities: 1. Conscious minded of the quality of clean-up of machinery 2. Attentive and alert to all moving parts 3. Capable of learning how to do minor jam-ups

Position Requirements:
Job Type: Full-time Schedule:3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:00AM 8-hour shift, may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business Weekend availability in season w/ specific mandatory Saturdays as needed.
Please Note: If hired you will need to train on 1st shift (7am-3pm) for up to 2 weeks with a trainer.
