Social Media Content Creator & E-Commerce Specialist
Location: Furnish Theory (In-Person)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM

About Furnish Theory
Furnish Theory is a growing furniture e-retailer with a brick-and-mortar presence that will be rebranded in the coming year. We’re in an exciting growth phase and are looking for a passionate, creative, and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator & E-Commerce Specialist. If you're excited about creating engaging content, going live on TikTok, and driving online sales, we want to meet you!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Social Media Content Creation: Develop and be featured in engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube that resonates with our audience and helps us go viral. Must have strong video editing skills.
- TikTok Lives: Host weekly live streams on TikTok to showcase our home furnishing products, interacting with customers and driving sales.
- Product Management: Create product data sheets and upload them to platforms like TikTok Marketplace, Legacy Gallery, AptDeco, and Chairish.
- Photography: Assist in our photography projects to ensure high-quality visuals for marketing and product listings.
- Content Editing: Efficiently use tools like Microsoft Word, Photoshop, and other video editing software to produce polished content.
- Team Collaboration: Take initiative in filling company gaps, delegate tasks when needed, and work alongside the team to push the business forward.
- Leadership & Growth: Lead projects independently and contribute to scaling the company as we grow toward our goal of 15 team members.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in creating social media content, especially for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Proficient in video editing and photo editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, or similar).
- Familiar with creating product data sheets and managing listings across multiple marketplace channels.
- Able to host live-streamed sales events on TikTok.
- Strong communication skills, both on-camera and within the team.
- Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Must align with our company’s culture and long-term growth goals.
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and other related tools.
