Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Furniture Repair and Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of furniture pieces. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading the truck, installing furniture according to the directions you receive, and assembling items on-site. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. The Furniture Repair and Installation Technician will work closely with other team members to install, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and maintain equipment.
Duties
- Examining furniture to determine the extent of damage or deterioration, and to decide on the best method for repair or restoration
- Replacing or repairing damaged furniture parts using hand tools and power tools
- Install furniture according to blueprints or job tickets
- Document processes and maintain accurate records of repairs performed.
- Assemble furniture as needed
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and enhance service quality.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and repair techniques relevant to the industry.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Furniture Repair and Installation Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- All applicants must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck.
- While it is not required, previous carpentry work or experience using hand and power tools is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
