Job Overview:
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and achieving sales targets. This role involves building relationships with customers, addressing their needs, handling inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Additionally, Sales Associates contribute to maintaining store presentation, promoting products, and supporting overall store performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products.
- Assist customers with product selection, ensuring they find items that match their style, budget, and preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to overall store performance.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale, ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
- Act as Cashier and help customers with financing needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Stay knowledgeable about product features, benefits, warranties, and promotions to educate customers effectively.
- Collaborate with the store team to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Support promotional events, in-store marketing initiatives, and special sales campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales and customer service, preferably in furniture or appliance.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple customer interactions.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
