Job Purpose:
The Human Resource Generalist-Operations Business Partner is a professional-level HR role responsible for supporting the Operations segment of Furnitureland South. This position will collaborate closely with senior HR management and the HR team to execute HR functions, initiate process improvements, and drive strategic visions.
This Associate may be expected to have flexibility in their schedule to ensure visibility across various shifts. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR resource for the Operations division
- Recruit and onboard Operations positions, including warehousing and delivery drivers
- Assist Associates in navigating the HRIS, resetting passwords, and providing mobile and desktop access guidance
- Lead the performance management process, collaborating with leaders and Associates on 30, 60, and 90-day stay interviews and annual evaluations
- Investigate and resolve employee relations matters, utilizing the Executive Director of HR and/or Legal when necessary
- Contribute to benefits administration, including communicating benefits information to employees and assisting with enrollment via the HRIS
- Manage medical cards and driving requirements for drivers
- Attend monthly Operations leadership meetings and departmental meetings, including safety discussions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
- Professional accreditation in HR
