Logistics & Inventory Management

- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Implement and maintain inventory control processes to minimize shrinkage and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Manage warehouse and stockroom operations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Direct the placement and presentation of furniture and accessories to create an inviting and aesthetically pleasing showroom.
- Develop and implement floor plans that highlight product features and encourage customer engagement.
- Rotate merchandise regularly to keep the showroom fresh and appealing.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure displays align with promotional strategies and seasonal trends.
- Ensure that all furniture displays are clean, well-maintained, and properly tagged with pricing and product information.
- Supervise and train staff on best practices for logistics, inventory management, and showroom presentation.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with the General Manager to develop and execute operational strategies.
- Monitor sales trends and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions for floor layout and inventory adjustments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in operations management, logistics, inventory control, or retail store management. 3-5 years minimum
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and execute visually appealing floor designs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and move furniture as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or Associate’s degree
- 5 years experience in Operations leadership
- Experience in the furniture or home décor industry.
- Background in retail merchandising or visual display.
- Knowledge of warehouse management and distribution best practices.
