Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at the North Carolina Zoo. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the zoo, ensuring a high-quality experience for visitors and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of department managers to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
• Maintain open communication channels with clients, stakeholders, and employees to ensure transparency and build trust.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or hospitality.
• At least five years of experience in operations management, preferably in the cultural attractions industry.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams towards achieving organizational goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and employees.
