Job Summary: We are a global furniture company looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure efficient logistics processes, and lead a team of warehouse staff.
About Us: FurnitureR operates both online and offline with multiple overseas warehouses worldwide. Our business is expanding, and we are establishing a new warehouse near Charleston Port in Manning, South Carolina.
Main Responsibilities:
● Manage daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, container unloading, inventory management, and cargo loading.
● Supervise and organize warehouse staff, optimizing workforce allocation and improving efficiency.
● Coordinate transportation and shipping, ensuring timely deliveries and optimizing logistics processes.
● Conduct inventory control and regular stock checks to maintain accuracy.
● Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies and safety standards.
Requirements:
● Experience in warehouse management, familiar with logistics and storage processes; experience in the furniture industry is a plus.
● Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
● Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related office software.
● Problem-solving skills, able to work efficiently under pressure.
● Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with different departments.
● Valid work authorization and ability to maintain long-term employment.
