We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our sales team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers through their car-buying journey, providing expert advice, and ensuring a seamless purchasing experience.
Primary Accountabilities
The day-to-day duties of this role include:
- Offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the car dealership showroom or sales lot
- Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences
- Showcase and demonstrate vehicles to prospective buyers
- Conduct test drives and highlight key features and benefits of different models
- Explains product performance, application, benefits, and all optional equipment available
- Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences
- Provide accurate information on pricing, financing options, and dealership promotions
- Collaborate with the finance department to secure financing and complete sales transactions
- After vehicle purchase, introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service maintenance available
- Attends sales meetings, sales training, and product training as requested
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
- Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers
- Is present when vehicles are delivered to customers, ensuring the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
- Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, special requests, etc., to ensure that all customer expectations are met
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Encourage repeat and referral business
Sales Associate Qualifications
- Energetic, positive self-starter with excellent customer service skills and a can-do mentality
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously in a professional manner
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
