Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports, including management discussion and analysis (MD&A)
- Support audit processes by preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries
- Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for internal and external financial reports
- Assist with internal controls and compliance activities, including support for SOX 404 requirements
- Research and analyze complex accounting issues and assist with implementing technical accounting guidance
- Contribute to special projects and provide technical accounting support as needed
- Draft accounting memos for significant or non-routine transactions
- Participate in ongoing process improvement and cross-functional collaboration
- Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
- CPA license or active CPA candidacy strongly preferred
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting or corporate accounting preferred)
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business software
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
