Title: Chargeback and Rebate Manager

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

Company: Multinational Nutrition Science & Health Food Manufacturing Company (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)

Initial term: 12-month contract (position expected to run longer)

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Open to a hybrid schedule. ~5% travel.

Compensation: $100 - $150/hr plus overtime (plus benefits)

Position Summary

The Chargeback and Rebate Manager is responsible for overseeing the chargeback and rebate process for our company's medical nutrition business. This position requires a detail-oriented individual to manage and oversee chargeback data processing and payments for numerous distributor customers. The individual will collaborate cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, emphasizing compliance and accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review processed chargeback, rebate, and resubmission data to identify trends and recognize potential errors and risks.
• Sustain a consistent emphasis on prompt chargeback clearing and cleanup, with particular attention to purge mitigation.
• Prepare monthly cash flow analysis and chargeback balance sheet reconciliation to ensure adequate liability is being held.
• Prepare quarterly accrual analysis to determine changes required based on most recent payment activity across all products and contracted price points.
• Maintain ownership over processing and payment for a large and varied set of contracted rebates.
• Develop and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the Medical Nutrition Copilot to assist with any Gross to Net planning requirements and
• explanations of variances between expected and actual results.
• Work closely with chargeback and deduction analysts to support their individual responsibilities and effectively communicate results to leadership
• Maintain a mindset of continuous process improvement, prioritizing the elimination of manual processes and the implementation of automation whenever feasible.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues to facilitate systematic enhancements, which includes articulating the value proposition for requested changes and
• conducting testing and troubleshooting for implemented systematic modifications.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated exceptional ability to analyze large and complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
• Adaptable Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excels in working across diverse teams and quickly adapting to changing environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Lifesciences business model with emphasis on clinical pricing chargebacks, accounts receivable, and wholesaler sales model
• Experience utilizing SAP/Vistex a plus
