Job Overview
Fusion Cell is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team as an MEP Technical Coordinator. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of electrical equipment in our data centers.
About the Role
- Coordinate with customers to ensure equipment installation meets project requirements.
- Work closely with electrical sub-contractors to resolve issues and answer technical questions.
- Investigate site problems, negotiate with subs, and coordinate resolution efforts.
- Represent Fusion Cell at on-site meetings and communicate project status back to the company.
Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, including drawings, submittals, equipment lists, and Arc Flash studies.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders and attend centralized discussions and issue resolution platforms.
- Verify that systems meet project requirements through quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate project schedules with business units and schedulers.
- Manage large project sites and ensure timely completion of work.
Skills and Qualifications
- A construction background, preferably electrical.
- 2 years of trade school/college/journeyman experience.
- Adept at reading blueprints and associated building information.
- Proficiency in Adobe and editing PDFs.
- Proficient in Procore.
- An understanding of ATS, UPS, and Switchgear functionality.
- PME Certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 45 lbs.
- Able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and climb.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- The ability to wear proper PPE, including a 40 Cal suit with a flash hood, for extended periods.
