Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
We are seeking a manufacturing technician to join our team in Rochester, NY. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, assisting in troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and participating in root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and technical skills, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in high-speed automated production and related systems. Experience doing hands on work on packaging lines and performing routine maintenance tasks with minimal supervision is required. The ideal candidate will also be able to interpret, follow, and contribute to updates in SOPs, work instructions, and job plans.
Responsibilities:
Assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled.
Document maintenance activities and report issues.
Participate in simple root cause analysis under supervision.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in high-speed automated production, packaging, formulation process, and/or related systems.
Basic understanding of GMP requirements and adherence to them during maintenance activities.
Initial hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, vision, PLC, and robotics systems.
Basic understanding of condition-based monitoring and predictive technologies such as Vibration Analysis and Ultrasonic testing.
