Fusion Medical Staffing is searching for a Business Transformation and Optimization Coach to join a new team committed to executing a strategic approach to effect business decisions and growth while fostering an operational excellence and a data-driven culture. In this role, you will lead improvement and optimization initiatives to drive change in operational and financial performance to realize business value. You will apply process improvement methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects at Fusion while considering opportunity value/return. You will work with key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement, facilitate process owners and users through performance excellence tools, and launch projects to reduce waste and complexity in our business processes. You will champion operational excellence practices and culture to foster an environment in which these practices in business processes are welcomed and valued.

Essential Functions
- Leverage LEAN, Six Sigma and other process improvement tools to identify opportunities, create strategies and implement sustainable solutions to achieve success.
- Lead, facilitate and manage cross-functional team efforts, establishing and implementing project life cycle methodologies to ensure process and quality improvement projects are delivered on time and meet assigned expectations.
- Develop/define, publish, and execute project plans and deliverables.
- Develop/publish executive summaries.
- Execute Risk assessments.
- Identify and manage resources required to successfully execute process and continuous improvement projects.
- Serve as consultant, mentor, and advisor in the application of process and continuous improvement tools and methods.
- Conduct research on best practices and industry trends.
- Implement the tools required to collect and measure relevant data and produce data-driven analysis of critical functions.
- Serve as a transformation & optimization advocate within Fusion.

Work Environment
This job operates as a hybrid position in an office and/or remote environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected hours worked
This is a full-time position, and standard hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST (flexible start/end times with manager discretion). Regular and punctual attendance is required
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, organizational development, or related field
- 3 years progressively responsible, high performing work experience in field or related field
- Following department orientation/training and within six months of start/transfer date, candidate must have successfully completed LEAN, Six Sigma training as well as one training project and be able to lead a project/team with limited support from Director.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's degree in business administration, industrial/organizational psychology, organizational development, or related field
- 4-5 years previous experience in finance, staffing and/or sales
- Relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of DMAIC, Six Sigma and LEAN
- LEAN training/certification, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training/certification
- Formal leadership experience
- Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Data Tables
- Understanding of statistical analysis
