Job Description
We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist- SLP to fill a 13-week contract at one of our partner facilities. As a Speech Language Pathologist- SLP, you will be responsible for administering medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment, educate patients and other health professionals on an ongoing basis, observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings accordingly, and follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
- One to three years' experience as an SLP is preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- PC skills
